Cian O'Callaghan: I confirm that I am in the Leinster House complex. I thank the Department officials for coming in and for all their work on this issue. I agree with the Chair and other speakers that this is highly significant work. In that context, I agree with what Deputy Ó Broin said. We have a duty to ensure that, as a statutory plan, this framework receives a proper level of scrutiny from our...

It is the latest research detailing how people are experiencing homelessness. They do not...

Cian O'Callaghan: I will make one brief point. The Minister needs to know that the same standards are not being applied. I refer to an inspection report of a private emergency accommodation provider, a document which is a page and a half long. An inspection report of a not-for-profit provider, however, has ten different pages in it, because a whole range of different standards are inspected in that case....

Does he have any value-for-money concerns about the increased use of leasing instead of Part V acquisitions? Documents released to me under freedom of information show that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, with State approval, signed multimillion euro contracts for 25-year long-term leases...
