Mary Lou McDonald: Is Dr. Murphy bothered by the issues that I have raised? Is it something that the institute has discussed as a management team?

(10 Dec 2015)

Mary Lou McDonald: Can I, respectfully, suggest that the institute, as a team and Dr. Murphy as the leader, might give some thought as to why the institute has had no protected disclosures yet there has been a rash of allegations made outside of orthodox channels? Mary Lou McDonald: I will question Professor Donnelly on the matter in a moment. I ask Mr. Ó Foghlú to comment on the matter. It is a fairly sizeable sum.

(10 Dec 2015)

Mary Lou McDonald: I am sure that I speak for all committee members when I say that we will anticipate this process and assume that Mr. Ó Foghlú will make it very clear to the institutions concerned. Issues have arisen at Maynooth University, Athlone Institute of Technology, Limerick Institute of Technology, Waterford Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, Tallaght, St. Patrick's in Drumcondra,...

Mary Lou McDonald: To the best of my knowledge, this report was not referred to or brought to the attention of the committee. I am open to correction but having trawled the records, I do not believe that is the case. Will Professor Donnelly or Mr. Boland offer an explanation as to why the report was not brought to the committee's attention. I will cut to the chase and explain the reason it interests me....
