Frank Feighan: Issues have arisen in regard to the fuel rebate scheme. The Government made many promises in regard to the replacement of this scheme but no replacement mechanism has, as yet, been put in place. Public transport operators are concerned they may not be able to fulfil their duties over the year owing to them not having received the fuel rebate as promised on numerous occasions.

Frank Feighan: I support this initiative. The Harristown treatment centre offered addiction treatment to young men who came through the courts and it treated up to 100 people per year. Effectively, it gave young people another chance. The commitment of the staff was impressive and I appreciate that the report has been completed. Although it has closed, we hope that the facility will reopen immediately.
