Eamon Gilmore: The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform brought the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Bill before the House some time ago. A number of items of legislation exist, including a Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) (Amendment) Bill, for which the heads are being finalised. It is expected to be published this year.
