Mary Harney: Many reasonable and useful points were made in this House which informed me and maybe my officials on some issues. We will discuss the points over the next day and it will be necessary to return to this House with further amendments. If the Bill is amended in the Dáil, I intend to take up some of the issues I mentioned here today and we will have to come back here with the amendments.

Mary Harney: I accept it is not ideal but there are constraints of time. I thank the Members for a very constructive and informative Committee Stage debate today. It is clear that Members did a considerable amount of work in a short period of time. I was impressed and we had a good debate. There is clearly much interest from the pharmacy profession in this Bill which has been sought for many years....
