(7 Feb 2013)

Robert Dowds: It was difficult to find the phone number, but I found it eventually. I think the number should be displayed on the boards one sees when one crosses the West Link bridge. It would be useful if a phone number or an e-mail address, which people could access if they have problems, were provided on the boards that say "pay your toll by 8 p.m. tomorrow". It must be extremely difficult for...

Robert Dowds: With reference to the case mentioned, every fortnight an additional threatening letter was sent, irrespective of the fact that the person concerned was trying to deal with the issue, and the charges kept mounting up. It seemed as if it was being done automatically without intervention.

Written Answers — Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine: Sale of State Assets (12 Feb 2013)

Robert Dowds: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the measures being taken to ensure the continued open access for recreation to land owned by Coillte in the context of the sale of parts of Coillte to private interests; if he plans to write into any sale agreement that there must be access to Coillte owned land for recreational users after the sale takes place, that car parks must be...

Order of Business (13 Feb 2013)

Robert Dowds: I realise the Government has a huge legislative programme but I urge the Taoiseach to prioritise, to the greatest extent possible, the noise nuisance Bill, particularly in light of the serious degree of anti-social behaviour which some communities continue to suffer.

Promissory Notes Arrangement: Motion (Resumed) (13 Feb 2013)

Robert Dowds: It should be recognised that the promissory note and what went before it represent one of the greatest injustices perpetrated on the people. It is rather sad that this injustice was perpetrated when our own Government was in charge. It was not perpetrated by some coloniser from elsewhere. I hope the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Deputy Howlin, will forgive me for saying...

The Dublin area, for example, is...
