It is a very special occasion for them as the Seanad recognises the work of the late Rory Kiely. He was very proud of his lovely family at all times - his beloved wife, Eileen, who has died, his two sons, Roderick and Vincent, his two daughters, Aileen and Mairead, and his grandchildren. It is...
- Seanad: An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business (21 Nov 2019)
Terry Leyden: Good morning to the Leas-Chathaoirleach and Leader. I certainly have no objection to the Order of Business and it is quite in order. Terry Leyden: I thank the Chairman and his committee for arranging this meeting today. I failed to contact the CEO. She refused to take calls from me, which is strange. It has not happened in my many years in public life that someone in such a position would not communicate with elected representatives, but Ms Keogh is here today. I welcome Councillors Orla Leyden and Anthony Waldron and all the...
- Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: Proposed Closure of Cuisle Accessible Holiday and Respite Care Resort: Discussion (21 Nov 2019)
Terry Leyden: That is outrageous. I made it quite clear that the message was to Ms Keogh, not her. Let us be quite clear. This is a trick you are using to damage my reputation.
- Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: Proposed Closure of Cuisle Accessible Holiday and Respite Care Resort: Discussion (21 Nov 2019)
