Would Dr. Love see that as an acceptable expenditure of taxpayers' money by an institute?

I would expect that somebody who is paid a very generous salary, who is the Accounting Officer, and who is in the job because he is qualified to do that job - one of the functions of which is to come before the committee - should not require training.
