Peter Mathews: Ms Gilleece mentioned the separation between the board and the manager of a credit union. Perhaps I am getting confused but is it correct that the treasurer is elected from the board, and the treasurer is de facto the managing director? Is there not a connection? It seems the board and the general manager are not separated.
