Gerry Horkan: With regard to the cash facility, there may be ways people can pay cash but go by the post office or get a voucher or something rather than the NCT having to do it. Presumably there are a large amount of cash-handling costs in terms of getting the cash to the bank and all the rest of it. It is an overhead the NCT does not need.

When I was on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, we had to have a cash office for paying rent and we said we would just move it to the post office.
