Steven Matthews: I move amendment No. 513: In page 147, between lines 26 and 27, to insert the following: “(5) Where a planning authority or the Board is temporarily precluded from determining an application, subject to subsection (4), the statutory timeline for decision making shall be suspended for that period.”.

Steven Matthews: Section 62 deals with the issuance of a draft direction by the OPR. My amendment No. 513 relates to subsection (4). I am proposing that where subsection (4), particularly paragraph (b), kicks in, it would be beneficial for statutory timelines to be suspended for the duration of the process set out in the subsection.
