Róisín Shortall: The Health Service Executive has agreed that any medical card holder who genuinely engages with the review of their medical card will not have their entitlement withdrawn before that review is complete, regardless of the expiry date shown on their medical card. I have asked the HSE to investigate this particular case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
