A scheme in respect of vacant buildings in towns and villages has been introduced. What was the expenditure in...

Chapter 6: Central Government Funding of Local Authorities (30 Mar 2023) Colm Burke: Does Ms Hurley think local authorities have responded? Could a lot more be done in this area? Is there a need for information to be provided to public representatives about the role of Pobal, the processes and how the body reaches its decisions?

Chapter 6: Central Government Funding of Local Authorities (30 Mar 2023) Colm Burke: Maybe I will. There seems to be a lack of information on how Pobal arrives at its decisions. How is the information obtained? I have come across a number of groups that are unhappy with the response they got and find the funding they are getting is not adequate to deliver the projects they want to deliver.
