Brian Leddin: Are there other examples of EPR schemes in Ireland? How does the IFFPG scheme compare? I understand that the legislation allows for a deposit and return type scheme, but I am not aware of any instances of that in this country. Perhaps Mr. McDonald could discuss the potential for such a scheme.

Brian Leddin: I am not sure our guests will be best placed to answer the question on the waste issue, given that they are here to talk about emissions and the report on greenhouse gas emissions through to 2040 published last week, although they can decide that for themselves.
