Brendan Griffin: I am sorry to interrupt but there is sporadic interference with the broadcasting equipment from a telephone. I ask everybody to turn off their telephones because they interfere and make broadcasting difficult. It makes repeat broadcasts of the meeting less likely. It is in everybody's interest to ensure every telephone is turned off, as distinct from being in silent mode.

Brendan Griffin: Mr. Farrelly is basically saying that the one-cap-fits-all approach is impractical. I will give him an opportunity to come back in later in the meeting. We will have a further discussion on these matters. I am anxious to give the Fianna Fáil members an opportunity to speak at this stage.
