While the person named applied for derogation under the 2012 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme, the application was unsuccessful. The applicant was notified of this decision in writing on 10 October and advised of the right of appeal to the recently established independent DAS Appeals Committee.

During processing, an issue arose in relation to one parcel declared and it was necessary to seek clarification from the applicant. The application is now fully processed and payment will issue shortly to the nominated bank account of the person named.
