Jackie Cahill: There was an excellent point made in one of the submissions from Veterinary Ireland that a question on pets should be added to the census. That is a very helpful suggestion.

Jackie Cahill: Just in case he will growl at me tomorrow, I will say that we in Tipperary have a very good county council vet who does a lot of work with stray horses. I say that just in case he comes at me tomorrow. I work closely with him and in fairness to him, he is very active on the ground.
