We have all met with representatives of Epilepsy Ireland, which made a very strong case at our meeting last Thursday morning and raised several issues that need to be teased out here. I have also received e-mails from people who, separately from the advocacy role of Epilepsy Ireland, have genuine concerns.

Jerry Buttimer: I have received an e-mail from a woman who has had epilepsy since she was 15 years old. While she cannot drive a car and sometimes feels isolated, she believes she must carry on because she is alive, which is a beautiful gift.
