- The Dairy Sector: Statements (Resumed) (25 Mar 2015)

The farmers in question are raising money to fight a case. I am asking the Minister of State, not Deputy Deering, to state whether the Government will support them or wheel out the might of the State, including the advice of...
- The Dairy Sector: Statements (Resumed) (25 Mar 2015)
Mattie McGrath: I will be surprised if the Minister of State were to oppose them. I hope the Government will not do so. Deputy Deering can laugh if he likes but the issue is related to quotas. The courts are supposed to be free, open and transparent. Unlike me, Deputy Healy-Rae paid €100 into the fund opened by the farmers in question. He and any of the farmers who contributed to the fund are...
- The Dairy Sector: Statements (Resumed) (25 Mar 2015)
Mattie McGrath: The goalposts should not change. The farmers in question were eligible to claim headage payments and so forth. I extend good wishes to every farmer, whether young, middle aged or older, who has entered the scheme. The margins are tight and the...

Mattie McGrath: He will send out Fine Gael Deputies to visit small business people, who can no longer be ignored or discriminated against. The Tánaiste, Deputy Burton, is telling people to go away from post offices but the Taoiseach is talking about protecting small businesses-----

Mattie McGrath: This is serious.
- Order of Business (31 Mar 2015)
Mattie McGrath: The communications regulation (postal services) (amendment) Bill. I am asking for common sense legislation. The Taoiseach is talking about a new proclamation but he does not even understand the one he has. He is not on speaking terms with his Tánaiste and one hand does not know what the other is doing.
- Order of Business (31 Mar 2015)
