Bernard Durkan: I think I am. I have to check sometimes. I welcome the guests and contributors to the debate. I will comment on a couple of things. I am reminded of Harold Wilson's Government in the early 1960s when a problem arose. Every company that was losing money, it was decided to nationalise it. They ended up nationalising a bunch of losers and they had to denationalise them at a later stage....

Bernard Durkan: The nub of it is that we should use what we have in a really serious meaningful way to improve our infrastructure and to ensure those international corporations remain there to do the job they are doing and hopefully, we will be able to encourage them.
