Robert Troy: Is that responding to market demand? I do not think it is. I hope the Minister will start to drive this bus and ensure we can work together. I want to work with him to ensure we will have an integrated and sustainable public transport service that all citizens deserve.

Robert Troy: To get back to the motion, the Minister thanked my colleagues to my left for coming and discussing it with him last week. Perhaps that is the reason it took him until Monday to contact me and establish whether something could be agreed with regard to Bus Éireann, an issue that is just as important as rural roads. I am glad to see the Minister had his priorities right last week.
