We need power to hold people properly to account including by the Oireachtas. The Minister is still proposing to appoint the board of the Central Bank of Ireland in the same way as it was always appointed. We know that it...

Strategic Investment Bank: Motion. (27 Apr 2010)

Richard Bruton: Deputy Blaney is leaving the Chamber but I agree with him that we must be positive against the background of this economic problem. That should be the watch call of this Government. Does he have an assurance on this, despite his claim that it is complex and difficult?

Fiscal Policy. (28 Apr 2010)
