What does Ms Boteju propose we do? Will these children be stateless? Will they be adopted by the parents who brought them to Ireland? What will we do when they arrive on our doorsteps? What is the solution?

David Stanton: Sure. I am sorry, but I want to tease out this matter. We are facing these issues daily and our job is to figure out what to do legislatively. Granted, there may be other issues, but what of the practical issue? What does one do when a child arrives in Ireland? Does Dr. Finegan wish to contribute?
