Pat Rabbitte: We need a banking system that works. This House showed before, in the DIRT inquiry, that it has the capacity to examine these issues and make recommendations about future conduct. I ask the Taoiseach to consider that seriously. I cannot see any downside to it. The people expect no less of us.
