Brendan Ryan: After two hours of debate before the recent recess Deputy Troy took to his feet and, based on the difficulty he was having and the pressure he was under in supporting this flawed legislation, decided to have a go and have a rant. I want to remind the Deputy of those comments from a few weeks ago.

He said I did not attend Committee Stage, and he was wrong about that. He said I had never raised the issue before, and he was wrong about that. He was wrong on all fronts.
