Pádraig Ó Céidigh: It is strange that the FAI had turnover in excess of €50 million, profits of €2.7 million, and net total assets of more than €22 million, yet it had cash flow problems and could not talk to its bank about an overdraft or restructuring its finance in some way. As the Minister of State knows very well, there is a committee of local people who have been lobbying to improve and tarmacadam the road between Galway and Clifden to make it safer.
