Terry Leyden: It is a special occasion. I took my seat this day 35 years ago, having been elected in June 1977. It has been a very enjoyable period. I was out of the Oireachtas for ten years. I am glad to be back. I am delighted to have such great colleagues in this House. I would like the Seanad to be retained because it is a great outlet.
