Joint Oireachtas Committee on Education and Skills: Universities Act 1997 (Section 54(3)) (University Authorisation) Order 2019: Motion (5 Dec 2019)

Maria Byrne: I welcome the Minister of State and her officials. We had a great deal of discussion in the Seanad about the future of the RCSI and its university status. I will support the order because so many students from abroad and Irish students benefit from the standard of education at the RCSI. Deputy O'Sullivan is correct that we must separate the two issues she outlined.
