Gerard Murphy: If the Minister is happy that the day and time of expiry will appear on every warrant, that is acceptable. However, as we all know, if a warrant is served after the expiry date, the evidence recovered is not admissible in court. That has very serious consequences and we cannot afford to have uncertainty about this issue. If it should be stated in law, that should be done.
