Seanad: Order of Business (8 Feb 2012)

Terry Leyden: I support Senator Zappone's highlighting of the excellent programme last night from the team behind "Prime Time Investigates". It has shown great courage in this regard. I hope the Garda Commissioner will examine...

Seanad: Order of Business (8 Feb 2012)

Terry Leyden: We have a link to the Wilde family. I regard Oscar Wilde as one of the greatest writers in the English language. Terry Leyden: Will the House send a request to the Iranian Government to show leniency in the case of Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani. He is an Iranian Christian pastor who has been sentenced to death in Tehran for converting from Islam to Christianity. On all human rights issues this House should take a particular stand. Seanad: Order of Business (14 Feb 2012)

Terry Leyden: I am delighted Senator Rónán Mullen dealt with the following issue so well and I agree totally with him. In a statement yesterday the highly experienced former Secretary General of the Department of...

Seanad: Order of Business (14 Feb 2012)

Terry Leyden: Let us be clear on it. I know the Cathaoirleach was very much in favour of the embassy to the Holy See remaining open.

Seanad: Order of Business (14 Feb 2012)
