- Local Government Reform Bill 2013: From the Seanad (Resumed) (22 Jan 2014)
Mattie McGrath: In my area, Cahir, offices are being closed. What will happen? How will the transfer take place? Will the properties be sold off? Will community groups get a chance to avail of them? What is the cost in the case of Tipperary's uniting and changing its logo? What is the cost of changing every logo on every item and letterhead? Will consultants be hired to administer this and will it end...
- Local Government Reform Bill 2013: From the Seanad (Resumed) (22 Jan 2014)
Mattie McGrath: The Minister did not answer the question of the costs. I am relieved to know there will be no legal costs but what about the cost of changing a logo? Some years ago it cost a fortune to change from Cashel urban district council to Cashel town council, and that was only a small area. The entire county will have to be changed.

- Local Government Reform Bill 2013: From the Seanad (Resumed) (22 Jan 2014)

They are being charged a fee for FÁS modules or colleges.

They have companies to employ them but they are being charged a fee for the modules in college on top of everything else.
