Pat O'Neill: When I did the green certificate, it was a 30-hour course provided by ACOT. That was it. It is now a two-year course.

Pat O'Neill: It was not quite 50 years ago. Mr. Fitzgerald is saying the emphasis in the course should be changed to grass budgeting and cashflows.

Pat O'Neill: I know what Mr. Fitzgerald is saying. My son, who spent four years studying engineering at the University of Limerick, has spent the last two years in Kildalton doing the green certificate. I think they need to teach a lot of reality there. While I accept they are young and enthusiastic about their ideas, many of their ideas are not practical.
