Dermot Ahern: The applications referred to were received in the Visa Office, Abuja, on 30 June 2008. The guideline timeframe for the processing of visa applications is 6 to 8 weeks from the date of receipt in the Visa Office. At present, however, applications are being processed within a shorter timeframe and I would expect an outcome in this case within the next three weeks.
