Pat Moylan: Before I call Senator Alex White, I again remind Senators of the need to turn off mobile phones when entering the Chamber. Switching them to silent mode is not enough as the Debates Office has informed my office that they interfere with the quality of recordings. They also affect the quality of televised material. Pat Moylan: There is not much point having a debate on a particular issue unless the relevant Minister can come into the House to deal with it. I hope Members will bear with the Leader in these first few weeks to allow him arrange for Ministers to come into the House for debates.
