To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the specific type of testing that will be used at airports; the locations the testing staff will be seconded from; if they will be hired for the purpose; the testing capacity that will be in place by 1 December 2020; the desired optimal testing capacity; the procedures to be put in place for those who fail testing in the airport; and...

Scrambler Motorbikes and Quad Bikes: Motion [Private Members] (17 Nov 2020)

Seán Crowe: The misuse of scrambler and quad bikes presents a great danger to people in many of our communities when they are used by children or adults without any level of training, supervision or respect for one's neighbours. I accept that this problem is not occurring in every area but it is a phenomenon that is growing every year. Many of our communities are plagued by the buzzing noise to which...

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: Business of Joint Committee (18 Nov 2020)

Seán Crowe: The clerk has already been in touch trying to get witnesses for that meeting. I imagine we all collectively agree that it has to be a priority. There are also the questions of uptake, prioritisation of medical assessment and plans for procurement and distribution.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: Business of Joint Committee (18 Nov 2020)

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: National Children's Hospital (18 Nov 2020)

Seán Crowe: We have come to the end of this session. Mr. Gunning might think about other things the committee might be able to do. I have a question. Did the board suggest to BAM that it should apply for the Government Covid-19 support payment? Was that ever discussed with the contractor?

The reason I ask is I am conscious there are a lot of residents surrounding the site and one of the complaints that many residents associations in the area have is that the site is worked on early.
