John Deasy: I want to raise a very simple point about the letter we got from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. It is clear the Department is referring the committee to the Office of the Chief State Solicitor with regard to Mr. Fannin and the action he is taking in the High Court. There is no reference to Mr. Galvin’s case, however. Can we follow up on that?

It is important that some kind of decision or recommendation is made from the meetings he has had with the Department. Mr. O'Driscoll has followed through on what he has said about meeting and dealing with him. We need to just bring it to a conclusion.
