- Ceisteanna Eile - Other Questions: Road Network (24 Jun 2025)
Aindrias Moynihan: Some 32,000 vehicles travel on this section of road every day. There is a big flow of traffic coming from west Cork. It is a key artery into the city for many people. Road surface is a major aspect of road safety. Traffic travelling at 100 km/h hitting large holes is just dangerous. Drivers trying to avoid these holes by swerving around them present a danger too. Did the council make a...
- Ceisteanna Eile - Other Questions: Road Network (24 Jun 2025)
Aindrias Moynihan: The Minister's intervention is hugely appreciated. This is a vital section of road. The Minister mentioned safety works being approved in Castlemore and Kilcondy. Those junctions are vital, as are so many others along the road, but at those junctions in particular, we have, unfortunately, seen many major accidents and tragic loss of life. The council is moving ahead with those works....

Aindrias Moynihan: Maidir le tithíocht agus leis an gcoinníoll teanga go háirithe, de réir an údaráis, cé chomh tábhachtach atá coinníoll teanga? Seolann an t-údarás aighneachtaí chuig na comhairlí contae nuair a bhíonn iarratais phleanála ar siúl. Ní lorgaítear coinníoll teanga go sonrach ansin. Táim ag...
- Joint Oireachtas Committee on the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Irish-Speaking Community: Clár Oibre agus Tosaíochtaí Údarás na Gaeltachta: Plé (24 Jun 2025)
Aindrias Moynihan: Lasmuigh de thailte an údaráis féin, seolann an t-údarás aighneachtaí isteach maidir le cead pleanála atá á lorg ag tógálaithe príobháideacha agus mar sin de. Cuireann comhairlí contae coinníollacha teanga i bhfeidhm in áiteanna ach ní dhéanann siad amhlaidh in áiteanna eile. An ndéanann an...

- Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture and Food: Delays in Departmental Scheme Payments: Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (25 Jun 2025)
Aindrias Moynihan: The Deputy asked a reasonable question as to whether the Department would publish a review when it has identified issues. Is that the normal course of events? For example, if the Department identified that there are issues within its system or issues that farmers found difficult, or whatever it is, does the Department publish something like a review so things are smoother in the next...
