James Bannon: In addition, the continuation of the motorway from Mullingar to Rooskey is not getting the priority it deserves from the Government, despite the promises made in the last general election campaign. Furthermore, the main north-south artery through the midlands, the N55, was described in a recent report as the road to hell. It is one of the worst roads in the country.
