Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine: Scrutiny of EU Legislative Proposals (9 Jun 2015)

Andrew Doyle: I thank the witnesses. The briefing has been very informative for all of us in forming an opinion and the committee making a political contribution, which I presume is agreed by the remaining committee members. Senator O'Neill had to raise something on the Order of Business in the Seanad. This exercise has been very useful. Dialogue as it evolves has given us a better insight into how...

Deputies Aylward, Fitzmaurice, Connaughton and Naughten are not members of the committee but they wish to comment. I wish to inform everyone that we must conclude this session at 4 p.m. and vacate the room at 5 p.m. I wish to be fair to the two groups scheduled to attend for...

Many of the issues raised in the 11 contributions from members relate to the proposed star rating.
