Michael Noonan: I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer concerned is jointly assessed with her husband. Their tax affairs are dealt with under self-assessment as her husband is self-employed. Based on the Return of Income submitted for 2010 there is no additional tax due for that year. The liability for 2011 will be determined when the Form 11 for that year is submitted.
