Liz McManus: There is a commitment in the programme for Government to make tackling climate change a priority. At the time a special Cabinet sub-committee on climate change was set up and we all understood that the Green Party was committed to ensuring that was part of public policy. In the first year, 2008, that committee met six times. In 2009, it only met twice and in 2010 it has not met at all.
