Richard Bruton: I wish to raise two issues on the Order of Business. Yesterday we saw figures that show once again that the Government's commitment to end hospital waiting lists in two years, by 2004, has not been delivered.

We have had no progress on the matter and we have not seen the Minister for months, and now we are told that hospitals are to blame. What is the nature of the legislation and will we see it before this session is over?
