Steven Matthews: Very few of those incidents involve cyclists crashing by themselves. Some 80% of incidents are because of another vehicle or a third party.

I also pose the same question regarding pedestrians, and not just cyclists, in the context of incidents where pedestrians were injured or had to step back because a car zoomed by them.
