Eamon Ryan: The total amount paid by civil servants in the Department in superannuation and pension contributions in 2007 was €575,370. This includes contributions by staff that transferred from the former Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in October 2007. The total amount paid by staff in DCENR in 2008 was €463,643.
