- Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (16 Dec 2020)
Colm Burke: I was a member of the Oireachtas Committee on Health when the Committee of Public Accounts was looking at section 38 and section 39 organisations. We have a problem in the sense that over 2,500 organisations are getting funding from the HSE. I remember raising an issue relating to an organisation that I wanted to invite before the Oireachtas Committee on Health but we were advised that we...
- Public Accounts Committee: Business of Committee (16 Dec 2020)
Colm Burke: The point I was making is that over 2,500 organisations are getting funding from the HSE and the amount involved this year, for instance, is €4 billion. - Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health: Roll-out of Covid-19 Vaccination: Discussion (16 Dec 2020)
Colm Burke: If it will be mid-February for that cohort, what about healthcare workers? Will they be vaccinated by mid-February as well? I am not trying to tie Professor MacCraith to specific times. The process will start on 1 January, assuming the vaccine is available but obviously if it is not available until 15 January, then everything gets moved forward by 15 days. I am just wondering about the...
