Vote 1 - President's Establishment
Vote 2 - Department of the Taoiseach
(7 Feb 2019) See 2 other results from this debate

Marc MacSharry: We no longer use the term "strategic communications unit". It only spent €2 million out of a potential €5 million, which was cut from €5 million to €2.5 million. There is no specific budget this year and, instead of 21 people, there are only 16 or 17 people devoted to communications.

Catherine Martin: I apologise for the interruption. Deputy Munster asked about additional funding and there is the €220.9 million for tourism services. For Fáilte Ireland there was €50 million extra and €5 million carried over. That was support for strategic tourism businesses, with €5 million for training and digitisation support for the sector.

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government: General Scheme of the Planning and Development (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill 2021 (5 Oct 2021)

Mr. Eamonn Kelly: I cannot give the Deputy exact figures. It is €2.7 million-odd every six months. Ireland has paid €5 million in a lump sum and two instalments of €2.7 million. There is at least one more, and perhaps two more, to come. We are potentially talking about another €5 million, approximately.

Seán Fleming: 357. To ask the Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 138 and 139 of 11 May 2017, the number of individuals and organisations that owe the social insurance fund less than €10,000, between €10,000 and €50,000, between €50,000 and €100,000, between €100,000 and €250,000, between €250,000 and €500,000,...

Public Accounts Committee: Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland: Financial Statements 2019 (9 Mar 2021)

Marc MacSharry: Give or take €30 million per year, which sounds like big money to the average punter and, indeed, me. The money has been turned around. To fund €30 million in invoices per year, €5 million is needed every 60 days. Some €1 million goes out and €1 million comes in, for example. If the €60 million we have provided was to fund discounted invoices, it...

Ceisteanna Eile - Other Questions: Covid-19 Pandemic Unemployment Payment (18 May 2021)

Since its introduction, in excess of 23 million payments have been made, with 14.7 million payments made in 2020 and 8.4 million payments in the first four months of 2021. Last week, my Department issued payments to more than 376,000 people...

Public Accounts Committee: 2018 Financial Statements of An Bord Pleanála (3 Oct 2019)

Kate O'Connell: Was the €2.9 million estimate for 2014 the amount of money the board had to spend? How could something end up being €5 million when it was €2.9 million? Inflation is understandable but if I was the company who had got that tender I would be delighted I had received a tender for €2.9 million and could potentially get €5 million. I would think this is a...

Written Answers — Department of Finance: Tax Reliefs Cost (15 Dec 2015)

Michael Noonan: I propose to take Questions Nos. 157 and 158 together. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that, as tax returns do not separately identify "entrepreneurial" gains from other gains, there are no data available to accurately cost these proposed measures. However, on the basis of making various assumptions, it is very tentatively estimated that the cost of increasing the overall limit of...

We have had sale proceeds of assets of approximately €18 million. This included approximately €5 million in value higher than we originally anticipated in 2012. In other words, we...

National Drugs Strategy. (30 Nov 2005) See 1 other result from this debate

Noel Ahern: The funding that comes through the local drugs task force and the Department is to deal with gaps in existing services. Services are provided across a range of Departments. A sum of approximately €50 million is spent on projects that started at local drugs task force level. In fact, the scale of Government investment is such that I do not believe people who are actively involved ever dreamt...
