I fully understand and appreciate that he was not in the Chair yesterday when this incident occurred and, therefore, he and his officials may need to check the record. Will the Ceann Comhairle also check whether it...

Arthur Morgan: Is the Minister of State or the Government doing anything to offer protection in cases of private householders or commercial enterprises which cannot get insurance cover as a consequence of several incidents with long-term consequences occurring within a very short time? Is the Minister of State taking any measures to offer those people comfort?

- Finance Bill 2010: Report Stage (Resumed) (10 Mar 2010)
Arthur Morgan: I welcome the Minister for Social and Family Affairs and perhaps I should also sympathise with her. I support the amendment. I am sure we all know of instances where somebody awarded a substantial claim suddenly had significantly more friends than he or she realised and within a very short time those newly-formed relationships of friendship proved to be other than that and had managed to...
- Finance Bill 2010: Report Stage (Resumed) (10 Mar 2010)
Arthur Morgan: On a brief point of order, amendment No. 10 merely provides that the Minister shall examine the question of standardisation. I do not know why it is ruled out of order.
