Imelda Munster: Without preconditions?

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport: Current Financial Situation at Bus Éireann, the Expressway Service and the Rural Transport Programme (25 Jan 2017)

Imelda Munster: They will not meet with preconditions. Will Mr. Hernan facilitate third party intervention without preconditions rather than avoid the chaos and what will happen in a matter of weeks? Will he show a willingness, as CEO of Bus Éireann, to prevent the chaos that lies ahead? Will he show a willingness to engage with the stakeholders without those preconditions? "Yes" or "No"?

Joint Oireachtas Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport: Current Financial Situation at Bus Éireann, the Expressway Service and the Rural Transport Programme (25 Jan 2017)

Imelda Munster: I am losing patience. I have asked for a "Yes" or "No" answer. It is a straightforward question. Symphysiotomy procedures dropped off after the 1960s in most parts of the country in favour of caesarean sections, but not at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital...

Symphysiotomy: Statements (26 Jan 2017)

Imelda Munster: I commend all the women who were brave enough to take on this fight for justice and redress and all who came before the scheme. I hope they feel vindicated. I hope they feel the brutal procedure that was done on them has been recognised by the State as precisely that. I hope they feel at the end of the day they got some sort of justice for the pain that they went through for the rest of...

Bus Éireann: Motion [Private Members] (31 Jan 2017)

Imelda Munster: When will the Minister, the Government and the NTA take responsibility for the financial crisis affecting the Expressway service and admit it was caused by bad policy, poor decision-making and gross underfunding? The first cause of the crisis is the oversaturation of routes. Seat capacity on the Dublin to Cork route has grown by 128%. Seat capacity on the Dublin to Limerick route has grown...
