Terry Leyden: I support Senator O'Toole's proposal for an open debate on the economy and the IMF report and the OECD report. The Opposition should be very careful because it might actually achieve that for which it wishes.

Terry Leyden: In fact it would not be in a position that it would be in government in the morning. The IMF report supports and endorses the steps taken by the Taoiseach and the Minister for Finance, Deputy Brian Lenihan. In an interview on "Morning Ireland" this morning the Minister indicated a very confident approach to both reports - the OECD and IMF reports.
