Aindrias Moynihan: Shamhlóinn go mbeadh an timpeallacht mar an ábhair mór le rá i gcomhar togra a bhrú chun cinn. An bhfuil an timpeallacht ag brú ar aghaidh thogra Bhéal Átha an Ghaorthaidh? Aindrias Moynihan: Idir an dá linn tá brú ollmhór ar phobal Bhéal Átha an Ghaorthaidh. Níl siad ábalta tithíocht a thógáil sa sráidbhaile agus níl cead acu nasc a dhéanamh leis an gcóras atá ann. Idir an dá linn tá daoine sáite agus ní féidir leo bogadh chun cinn. Beidh orthu fágáil nó...

- Saincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Debate: Health Services (27 Jun 2023)
Aindrias Moynihan: The census confirmed our ageing population, as we expected. That is no surprise. There is a great need for people who are growing older to be able to remain independent for as long as possible and to live in their own homes with dignity. Day centres are a fundamental part and a key support in providing social interaction, advice and support to both the clients and also to their carers....

Aindrias Moynihan: I thank the Minister of State and acknowledge the huge efforts and the work she has been delivering for dementia services across the country. Through that support, we have been able to get the Wednesday service up and running in Macroom. It could be so much more if it had that opportunity available to it. It is about being able to support families and clients right across that large area...

- Committee on Budgetary Oversight: Public Service Performance Report 2022 (28 Jun 2023)
Aindrias Moynihan: Later in the report, there is reference to the well-being framework, which is being developed with a view to measure performance in future and also to allocate budget resources. There are two issues in that regard. How does the Department see that shaping future budgets? Will it replace a lot of the indicators or will there be duplication of the indicators the Department is already gathering?

- Committee on Budgetary Oversight: Public Service Performance Report 2022 (28 Jun 2023)
Aindrias Moynihan: The Department has been up and running over a good number of years with the current report. Departments will be more familiar with what they are presenting. The well-being framework is a newer yardstick being rolled out. Is it up and running in all Departments? Are they all participating at this point or is that still being rolled out? Are they all reporting at this stage or are only...
